Global Sources announces 7,000 buyers for its China Sourcing Fairs in Shanghai

Global Sources (Nasdaq: GSOL) announced that over 7,000 overseas and domestic market buyers attended its China Sourcing Fairs held on 13 January 2010 to 15 January 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
The company said that the fairs showcased over 840 booths, which was an increase of nearly 80% over the previous events. The booths covered Baby & Children’s Products, Fashion Accessories and Gifts & Premiums.
The buyers who attended the shows included Auchan, Carrefour, Coles Group, Dorel, H&M, Procter & Gamble, MGB Metro, Redcats and Swarovski.
Buyers purchasing for the China domestic market included those from Boshiwa, Goodbaby, Herborist, Juneyao Airlines, Metersbonwe and Tony Wear.
Also, in January 2011, the China Sourcing Fairs in Shanghai are scheduled to expand to include Home Products and Underwear & Swimwear.
Global Sources is scheduled to hold its newest China Sourcing Fair: Electronics at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, from 2 June 2010 to 4 June 2010. The event is set to feature pavilions for computer & networking products; consumer electronics; electronic accessories; GPS; in-car electronics; security products; and telecom & wireless products.
