Mack Brooks Exhibitions acquires ICE trade fairs
Published March 7th, 2008
International tradeshow organizer Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group has acquired the rights to the International Converting Exhibition (ICE) series of exhibitions, which take place every two years in Munich, Germany, Shanghai, China, and Manchester, UK.
ICE serves the interests of the converting community; the show in Munich is Europe’s leading exhibition exclusively focusing on paper, film and foil converting.
Michael Boyle, managing director of nimble shows & media GmbH, will continue to work on the exhibition series in an advisory role for Mack Brooks Exhibitions, and Franz Hermann will continue as sales director of the events.
“We’re delighted to agree to this new partnership with Mack Brooks as we know this will create the best possible means to develop the ICE events further,” says Boyle. “We will provide continuity of organization with our ongoing involvement and support of the show, while being able to rely on the resources of a much larger show organiser.”
ICE 2009 will take place Nov. 24-26 at the Munich M,O,C.
