Kohl’s Department Stores is hiring 430 people in Queen Creek, Surprise and Bullhead City.

The Wisconsin-based chain (NYSE:KSS) will open the three new Arizona stores in March and is planning job fairs Jan. 20-24 to recruit full-time and part-time workers. In October, Kohl’s announced a five-year growth plan that calls for more than 1,400 stores nationwide by 2012. By the end of March, the store count is expected to hit 944. Through its A-Team program, employees are encouraged to volunteer for local youth-focused nonprofit organizations with Kohl’s matching those efforts through corporate grants.
