Val Verde County 4-H Show

Published January 9th, 2008

Val Verde County’s rich ranching traditions come to life this weekend during the 67th Annual Val Verde County 4-H Livestock Show and Premium Auction.

The event begins Thursday and continues through Saturday afternoon in the 4-H barns at the Val Verde County Fairgrounds.

This is a chance for the local county 4-H club to exhibit the “quality animals and quality young people” at the heart of its program, according to Sam Kuykendall, who served as a livestock judge in one of the show’s recent years.
