Tulare County Fair hires a new manager

Geoff Hinds, fairs and festivals manager of the San Mateo County Fair, has been hired as the new CEO of Tulare County Fair.
He starts Jan. 15. His first event will be the Great Western Livestock Show held the first two weekends of March.
Hinds, 28, was selected because “when it came down to choosing the leader with the most fair experience,” Hinds was the preferred choice, said Pete Alvitre, chairman of the fair board.
