Igedo Fashion Fairs Dusseldorf

Published January 5th, 2008

As the most important hub for women’s and men’s wear, lingerie, beach wear and accessories, the Igedo Fashion Fairs are positively effected by the optimistic developments in the German textile retail industry. The country is experiencing an upswing, the economy is continuing to pick up and consumers are willing to spend. For both national and international producers, Germany is now again of great interest and fashion trade fairs like the Igedo Fashion Fairs Dusseldorf bring suppliers and customers together at the same time and place, creating a perfect communication and order platform for the fashion industry. About 1,700 exhibitors will showcase the trends for the 2008/2009 Autumn/Winter season at the Igedo Fashion Fairs Dusseldorf — consisting of the four fashion fairs CPD Dusseldorf, HMD Dusseldorf, Body Look and Global Fashion — at the fairgrounds in Dusseldorf, Germany, from February 10 - 12, 2008.

“The Igedo Fashion Fairs are the center of the fashion business in Dusseldorf. With clearly structured trade fair segments we present the full spectrum of the market thereby bringing all key trading partners from throughout the world together in Dusseldorf,” commented Frank Hartmann, Managing Director of the Igedo Company, organizer of the fashion trade fairs. “The response from exhibitors is considerably more positive than it was in previous seasons. They are especially pleased with the international diversity of the buyers.”

The Igedo Fashion Fairs Dusseldorf will have a more compact hall layout for the new season and halls 4, 5, 7, 9 - 12, 15 and 17 will all be occupied. “In view of the incorporation of the ‘Style & Signatures’ segment into our new trade fair project WEARe Dusseldorf which will debut from February 8 - 10 in Hall 8b, we decided to shorten the distances visitors have to walk and to move the very successful Fashion Gallery from Hall 14 into Hall 12. However, this will not affect the range of presented products,” explained Frank Hartmann.
