Punjab Congress plans conferences on religious fairs

Punjab Congress Spokesman and former Minister Jagmohan Singh Kang Thursday stated that Punjab Congress has envisaged a series of public meetings and rallies in order to invigorate the organization.Most of these conferences would be on religious fairs.

He said that PPCC President Rajinder Kaur Bhattal will attend Eid celebration at Malerkotla on 21.12.2007 and would address District Rally of Congress workers/leaders on 22.12.2007 at border district Tarn Taran, Political Conference on the occasion of Shaheedi Jor Mela on 25.12.2007 at Fatehgarh Sahib followed by State Level Christmas Rally of Christians on 28.12.2007 at Dhariwal (Gurdaspur). Mr. Kang said that all workers/leaders of the Party have been instructed to mobilize maximum number of people for these meetings to ensure the success of planned programme.
