The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), in association with government and Pokhara Chambers of Commerce, is organizing the National Industrial and Trade Fair-2064 (2007) in western city Pokhara on Dec. 6-15, The Himalayan Times reported on Friday.

“National Industrial and Trade Fair — an annual event — is the example of government and private sector’s partnership,” Chandi Raj Dhakal, President of FNCCI, said, adding that concept of partnership has been successful in promoting national economy including trade, tourism, agriculture and socio-culture at the regional and central level.

“FNCCI is involved in such festivals that will help promote local produce, find new opportunities, expand market, and upgrade quality,” he added. “The festival will also help explore new avenues for the local produce.”
