Tippecanoe County Fair

The 30th annual greased watermelon contest is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. this evening in the coliseum, just after the kiss the pig contest.
The Tippecanoe County Fair continues through Saturday at the 4-H Fairgrounds, 1401 Teal Road, Lafayette. Admission is free.
Parking is available at the fairgrounds. A free shuttle bus service runs from Jefferson High School, 1801 S. 18th St., from 5:45 to 10:15 p.m. today through Friday.
Today is 4-H alumni day.
