2006 Litchfield County Antiques Show

The 2006 Litchfield County Antiques Show is set to take place this weekend at the Springs Center at Kent School. The event brings together 38 leading dealers in American and European antiques, showcasing a selection of furniture, china, silver, folk art, books, textiles and antique garden accessories.
Interior designer Keith Irvine, of the New York firm Irvine & Fleming, is honorary chairman. Irvine has attracted such clients as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Rex Harrison and Katherine Graham.
Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. today with a gala and a preview “Walk and Talk” tour led by Irvine. The public is welcome from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Springs Center is on Route 341, just west of Route 7
Tickets are $100 for the gala. One $10 ticket allows entry to the show both Saturday and Sunday.
