Association of Fairs To Meet in Green Bay

Published January 9th, 2006

The Wisconsin Association of Fairs Convention will be held in Green Bay this week. The January 9-11 conference will be attended by leaders from more than 76 county, district and state fairs and 110 plus related businesses will be represented by nearly 1000 people.
Organizers say the goal of the meeting is to provide Wisconsin Fairs and the businesses they work with an information exchange through excellent speakers, a three-day trade show, workshops and table topics so they can hit the road running for the coming fair season.
The convention is also the site of the 2006 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs competition, where the winning candidate will travel the state as the ambassador and spokesperson for all the fairs of Wisconsin during the coming year.
