Bradford County Fair changes for 2006

Chub Johnson, manager of the Bradford County Fair, attended a recent Kiwanis Club of Starke meeting to talk about the Bradford County Fair Association, upcoming events that will be held at the fairgrounds and some changes for the next fair, which will be held earlier than it has in the past.
The 2006 Bradford County Fair will be held March 17-26, which means it is getting its start two weeks earlier than normal. Johnson said there are several reasons for that, including avoiding a conflict with the Clay County Fair. The two county fairs have been ongoing at the same time for the last several years.

He also encouraged anyone who is interested to become involved with the Bradford County Fair Association. Board meetings are the first Tuesday of every month and fair association membership is $10.
